Report From Our Engagement Shoot...

I have woken up this morning with a sunburnt nose, nettle stung feet, aching legs and back (from dangling in a tree!) but I have an immense sense of happiness. No list of ailments could impair our feelings from yesterday. We had the most amazing day and Emma (Littleflowers) is mind-blowingly talented...

First up, we went to the Beach, at Wells. It's a gorgeous pine tree lined beach, with the most adorable beach huts. We played on sand dunes, flew a giant yellow balloon, draped ourselves over beach huts, played with two red balloons that were failing miserably at being heart shapes and we giggled like silly schoolgirls (even Al Fonzo!)

We then drove to Holkham Hall, where after a wasp infested cream tea, heart-to-heart, more giggling and a clothes change. We climbed in trees, (and in my case slid and fell off them) before another clothes change of me in a brightly coloured 1950's inspired outfit and my dear Al Fonzo looked very smart, in a waistcoat. We tried to bully the yellow balloon into flying, (something it really didn't want to do!) and Emma took some awesome shots with a fish-eye lens.

Gasping for a drink, sunburnt and giddy from laughing, we then drove to Hunstanton beach. Halfway there Emma stopped at the side of the road, so we followed and she told us she was looking for long wheat for me to brush my hand through, for some ring shots. Unfortunately the wheat was choked by weeds so we decided against it. I did however find the one and only dandelion in that field, so we tried a blowing-the-dandelion-shot, we only had the one attempt at this, so it will be interesting to see if it works.

When we got to the beach, we paddled in the sea, created some cool multi-shot shots (a photo with lots of Rob and I in them) and Emma suggested we make a Makka Pakka stone tower for some ring shots (In The Night Garden fans will know what this means!)

The day was finished with chips on the sea wall; more giggling, which climaxed at a lady lifting her rat of a dog up, upside down, it's legs flailing wildly, some Groyne shots, (sea groynes, not body groins!) sunset silhouette shots and finally shots of Rob and I, stood in front of the hideously tacky arcades, with penny-sweet teeth in!

We had the best day ever and loved every single second of it :)
